Our media work at the worlds largest offshore windfarm

Thanet Offshore Windfarm, just off the coast of Kent, has recently been covered in the national media including The Guardian, Times and BBC.  It has now started to supply electricity to the UK.

Kangaroo Media's team of photography and video crew were there in June 2010 as part of a project to record work for our clients Osiris Marine Services and CT Offshore.

This amazing engineering project has created a windfarm with 100 wind turbines, each measuring 300 feet tall and able to supply clean renewable energy to over 200,000 households.

The complexity of issues in working in such a hazardous environment, means that a 24 hour team of people are involved in bringing these projects to fruition.  With above and below surface work, the need for highly skilled commercial divers and ROV operators is a necessity - sometimes only human hands can undertake the tasks required.

Our media crew were there for a day to capture high resolution photographs and video, which have since been used in promotional videos, exhibition display presentations and online advertising.

We're proud to be associated with such a prestigious and innovative project.
