Video Production for The Spa at Greens

The Spa at Greens is a luxurious health and beauty salon, situated in Liverpool , near the waterfront at Riverside Drive.  The treatment rooms are in the same building as Greens Fitness, which means they have ideal access to a range of complimentary facilities for customers.

The Spa specialises in group pamper days, where friends and family can get together and enjoy a day of beauty treatments, food and relaxation.

The Spa approached us with the idea of producing a video to promote their pamper day packages, which would be used on their website to help sell gift vouchers and direct bookings.

The client organised friends to act as customers for the filming.  We filmed them using the Jacuzzi spa, the large swimming pool, aroma steam room, the restaurant and the beauty treatment rooms.

A storyboard was created with input from the client.  The client organised a hen party theme to show that the pamper day packages are popular with hen parties.  Filming was scheduled with the client and all footage needed for the storyboard was captured in an afternoon session, including a photography shoot using our special white backdrop equipment and lighting.

Editing was later completed over the following days back in our studio, with rough drafts sent to the client for content approval and amends carried out.

Graphic overlays were designed in keeping with the clients branding.  A voiceover script was written by us and then recorded by a professional female voiceover artist.  The digital files were then synchronised with the onscreen footage and graphics.  The voiceover allows the audience to focus on the facilities and treatments, without being distracted by onscreen text.

Finally, royal free music, which complemented the relaxing and harmonious tones of the spa, was included and the video was complete.

The video was rendered in full HD quality, ready for upload to YouTube, which allows high definition content streaming. Various other formats were also encoded, for upload to social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter with key phrase optimisation, and to be displayed on the newly designed Spa at Greens website.
